Trying to make the ever-overlapping clusterfuck that is character sprites as easy to edit and search through as possible.
Sprite animations (at least for characters) won't be edit-able for a while, because as big a mess as the sprite constructions are, the animations are on another level entirely.

This is what ive been waiting for. Character Sprite editing. Even if it isnt perfect,its a start.
So they just took some 16x16 tiles and put them together in such a wired way? I'm really interested in how other sprites are assembled.
What's the use in overlapping them? Do they wanted to reuse tiles and hopped they could combine some later?
Yeah.. I'm not really sure why they went that route, but some of the enemies use it pretty extensively.
Since sprite editing is the feature i anticipated most i wish you the best of luck solving those issues :)
I tried to edit some tiles and it is quite difficult/inconvenient to do so. Will there be the possibility to import images into tilesets later without worrying about palette sets and so on?
