Brainlord

No, this has nothing to do with Secret of Mana, but goddamnit, I've been wondering what's in this room on 2F of Platinum for years.

As it turns out... not a whole lot.  A little engrish snippet about the wind shoes, but no shoes, and no apparent way out or in.

As for the SOM Editor, do I feel like picking it back up again?  Maybe soon.  I've been poking at a lot of random little romhacky projects lately, none of which have gone anywhere.  A gameplay bot or some decent variation on the "twitch plays" theme would be particularly interesting, but I haven't quite found the right game/setup for it yet.  It worked well enough for Pokemon but that's already been played out to death.

We'll see, I guess.

Glad to see that you're well.

As for the SOM editor, it really is one of the more promising things I've seen in ROM hacking in a long time and I've been following it since the beginning. I would hate to see it die, and I'm sure I'm not alone. I hope you know your work here is much appreciated and I hope that encourages you to not give up and stick with it.

"architecture exporting" really sounds nice :)

It's always nice to take a refreshing break from a large project such as SoMEdit. I hope to see it continue into prosperity this year, it's a kickass editor that will eventually produce some epic hacks! Thank you Mop.

Hi Mop,

maybe you could support here:
http://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php/topic,17172.20.html

It's about the Square SNES SPC Engine.

I'm always looking back here to see if there's any posts or progress on the editor. I hope you pick it up again because a lot of us non-programmers are really looking forward to using it when its done :)

Same here.lol. I swear if theres a way to view/log who visits this page im sure my ip will show up everyday for the past 3 months. I'm always checking to see if theres any updates/images to secret of mana. My fav game of all time.

Thanks for doing the work the rest of cant do (who aren't programmers). Some people aren't doing anything with their life and then we have someone like you who is contributing to fans of this game with this amazing tool.

Ditto!

So, learn programming, instead of complaining that you don't know how, whilst being one of those not doing anything with their lives.

So learn English since you can't understand it well. The term "Thanks for doing the work the rest of cant do" is a compliment, not a complaint. Funny thing is you are exactly the person I was referring to who is doing nothing with life but being negative. To the poster above me. Me? I'm a graphic artist and fix computers for a living? What do you do besides complain? anybody with an English understanding will say you are doing nothing being negative aka complaining in you're post right above mine. Go learn English.

We aren't complaining, we are appreciating Mops work. I'm glad that the editor has even progressed this far.

Learn programming? My interest lies in multimedia, that is why I plan on making something with this editor that SoM fans can enjoy.

I am also doing something with my life. I am a multimedia developer who specialises in video editing/animation and I am constantly travelling interstate/overseas for work. In my spare time I create short videos for film competitions and have won awards.

So don't be quick to judge and read comments properly, we don't need negative people here!
